So glad I got this book! I've been a Sal Mineo fan for many years. I was always interested in knowing more information on his life and career, but there was always little out there. Michaud has done a very diligent and admirable job on his research ...

Very good storyline with intriguing characters, lots of action with believable scary event planning. Written so that a child is engaged and will return to read the story again and again. The characters were well developed. The writing is superb but the pain and horror of the author's experience as part of the "Little Rock 9" left me aching for those who have also been victimized due to race, religion, and sexual orientation.
