I knew his scientific way of thinking, buy didn't know how flexible it is, and how broadly educated he is. There's also a lot of wit and humor about him as he jokes about his appearance stating that his coat was once Washington's and the pants belonged to Napolean-and as much as he tells a few fibs here and there, by and large he's pretty honest and has never stolen anything to survive.
