The question that arises,then, is why do we need such a book to explain what would be self evident to our ancestors going back over the centuries to classical times(and no doubt beyond). The book is about characters and a surreal society where people are forced to work together because there is nobody else to do the daily tasks and where bartering is the norm and money never seems to change hands. A fantastic and insightful read!...

I can’t recommend this series enough and I know I have got several friends hooked on it since telling them about it. Larson, veteran Public SafetyMike builds the suspense, then takes you through the Blakes adventures in great detail. Then the Wombat realizes that there are humans that are living near by, then proceeds to show the destructive nature of the wombat. In 2003 the book was published in Romania by Editura Hasefer and in 2008 in Spanish by Editorial Font in Mexico. Political leaderships in India have always been able to broadcast to the world the fictitious picture of a thriving and prosperous society at home. On one hand you have Max, crime bosses enforcer, a man feared, but not respected because he is basically a dog on a leash.
