The book buyer should understand that this book is written for children and not for adults. The content of the book is very limited if you are looking for references and useful material on the range of diet of the American Cowboy......

I purchased this book for use in homeschool with a second and fourth grader. It reminds me of why I love being a witch and reminds me that being a witch is a strong and empowering thing. This author has developed characters that just jump off the page at you. If it is directed toward people in the field (that is, people who apply evolutionary models to the social sciences), another commenter is spot on in saying that it is written at too simple a level. Lamont's daughters are mentioned in here and are in a couple scenes. Some of the books in this Series are reproductions of historical works preserved by some of the leading libraries in the world.
